How to Transfer Photos from iPhone to iPhone?

At this point, I’m sure you’ve heard of the popular Apple iPhone photo transfer app called “iTunes” that transfers photos from an Apple computer to an iPhone. If you’re not, you’re in for a surprise. iTunes is the best way to transfer photos from iPhone to iPhone. Using iTunes, you can easily transfer photos to your iPhone or ipad without having to back up or even sync the photos to the Mac.

If your iPhone is getting old and you can’t bear to part with it, you can always move your photos from the old one to the new one. But how do you do it? Here are the steps.

In this post, we will show you how to transfer photos from iPhone to iPhone.

Most people’s iPhones include a large number of pictures and videos recorded in their daily lives. You may need to move pictures from one iPhone to another at times. When you snap a beautiful photo, for example, you would instantly email it to a buddy. Alternatively, if you have a new iPhone and a big number of pictures on your old one that you don’t want to lose, you’ll discover a method to rapidly transfer photos to the new one.

There are a variety of methods for sending data between iPhones. The following material covers the four most popular ways for transferring pictures from iPhone to iPhone.

Method 1: Use iCloud to sync pictures across iPhones.

iCloud is a fantastic tool for accessing your pictures and other data stored in your iCloud storage. Your Photos app will be synchronized across the two devices if you activate the “iCloud Photos” function on your iPhones.

Step 1. Go to “Settings” > “[Your Name]” > “iCloud” > “Photos”.

Step 2: Select “iCloud Photos” from the drop-down menu.

Then, as long as you have enough space on your iPhone, your pictures will be transferred to iCloud.

Step three. To activate the “iCloud Photos” function on the new iPhone, follow the same procedures as before. The pictures from the source iPhone will then be downloaded.

Note:

  1. You may need to finish the on-screen setup and sign in with the same Apple ID if the target iPhone is fresh new.
  2. Because iCloud relies on an internet connection, please ensure that your network is in good working order.

Method 2: Using iTunes, backup and restore the whole iPhone.

Without syncing, iTunes may backup your iPhone and restore it to another iPhone. It’s not as simple as iCloud, and it will transfer other data from your iPhone, but it’s worth a go. It has no storage restriction and is an excellent option if you have a new iPhone and want to retain your old data.

Note: iTunes will save and restore most iPhone data, including pictures; for more details, see What Does iTunes Backup Include?

Step 1: Connect your iPhone to your PC. On your computer, open iTunes and install it.

Step 2: In iTunes’ left pane, choose the “Summary” tab.

Step 3: Under Backups, choose “This Computer,” then “Back Up Now.” Then, to back up the whole iPhone, follow the instructions.

Step 4: Connect the target iPhone to the computer after the backup is complete.

Step 5. Click “Restore” on the “Summary” page to restore the backup image to the connected iPhone.

Method 3: Transfer pictures across iPhones selectively without syncing

The approved options for transferring data between iPhones are iCloud and iTunes. Because iCloud storage is limited and iTunes is rigid, you may not be satisfied with them. Then AOMEI MBackupper may be of assistance. It’s a professional iPhone data transfer application that lets you back up and recover your pictures from your computer to another iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch. As a result, you are unconcerned about the storage limit.

Furthermore, AOMEI MBackupper is the sole way to transfer your favorite photos to your iPhone. It allows you to choose the pictures you want to share with another device. After that, we’ll show you how to utilize this transfer tool.

Step 1: Launch AOMEI MBackupper and choose “Photos Backup” from the menu.

. Run AOMEI MBackupper

Step 2: Select “Photos” from the drop-down menu.

Method 4: Airdrop pictures from one iPhone to another.

Airdrop is a simple method of transferring data between Apple devices. Because it relies on a Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connection, you must enable those functions in the Control Center. However, if you need to send a big number of pictures, Airdrop isn’t the ideal choice since it’s sluggish.

Note that your iPhones must be running iOS 7 or later. It’s likely that it won’t function with certain older iPhone models.

Step 1: Open your iPhone’s “Photos” app.

Step 2: Select the pictures you wish to transfer by tapping the “Select” button.

Step three. Select “Airdrop” from the “Share” menu.

Step 4: Choose a person or a gadget to work with.

Airdrop the images

Step 5: The target iPhone will ask you whether you want to accept the pictures. Select “Accept.”

Wait for the transfer procedure to complete, and the device name will indicate “Sent.”

Conclusion

You may simply move pictures from one iPhone to another using the four techniques listed above. I hope this article has been helpful in sharing your favorite pictures between iPhones. Furthermore, if these photographs or other data are very essential to you, we recommend backing up your iPhone photos to a PC to avoid losing them.
