The Destiny 2 Beta is your first step to rediscovering humanity’s last safe city. It also contains several new features, modes, and updates that will be available to you when the full game releases on September 6!
Characters from the story campaign may be carried over to the full game, so you’ll want to take some time and see how your favorite character performs in a variety of activities. Tune up those reflexes! The Crucible beckons for blood. A new social space is calling out for a hangout with friends. And a brand new activity has you fighting aliens on an unknown planet.
when can i download destiny 2 beta?
The Destiny 2 Beta will be available on July 21 at 10AM Pacific. You can start downloading right now so that you’ll be ready to go when the time comes.
The Destiny 2 Beta begins on July 18 for PS4 players who have pre-ordered, and then expands to include all players on July 19. Unfortunately, we don’t have any beta details for Xbox One or PC players at this time.

If you pre-order on PSN, make sure to pre-order directly from the PlayStation Store and not from a third party retailer. The Destiny 2 Beta will end for all players on July 23 at 1PM Pacific. Bungie has also said that they will announce the dates of the next stress test before this one ends.

Destiny 2 is an upcoming online-only multiplayer first-person shooter video game developed by Bungie and published by Activision. It will be released on September 6, 2017 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows a month later on October 24. The game will feature a number of significant changes from the first Destiny such as a social space on Mercury, and an open world environment on Earth called the European Dead Zone.

The Bungie Blog has just announced that the Destiny 2 Beta is set to begin on July 18, 2017 for PS4 players who have pre-ordered. Everyone else will be able to join in starting on the 19th so you’ll want to mark your calendars! Here’s a bit of info from their post: “For those of you asking ‘When can I play?’ we’re excited to share that the Destiny 2 Beta will be starting this summer. Soon, pre-order customers will begin to receive early access to the beta. More details on timing will become available as we get closer to summer.” For players who have yet to pre-order, Bungie has noted that the Destiny 2 Beta will be available for all players on July 21st.

Bungie has announced that Destiny 2 will be released on September 8. This will give gamers enough time to play all the final game features before it officially releases. It was already known that Bungie would announce a release date during E3, but now they’ve simply beat their own deadline by just over two weeks! Here’s what they said about the official release date in an exciting blog post: “This autumn, Destiny 2 will welcome gamers to a new universe filled with action and excitement. We’re looking forward to sharing a fresh, inviting story filled with new characters to meet, new places to explore, and much more beginning on September 8.”
