It was the first game where you could play as a samurai or an ork “gutter rat.” You can now buy armoured smart-shoes with metal claws for kicking in doors, kill cybered-up street punks with your Ares alpha assault rifle, and become a decker to hack the Matrix and steal all the information you could ever want in order to become a Shadow Running rich and famous gunslinger. There is so much depth in this world: you can play as a street samurai, decker, shaman, rigger, gator, bodyguard/shadowrun/mercenary hybrid-type character… the list goes on”

“Well if they’re going for a more stylized look with Cyberpunk 2077 then going with something that is more 70’s or 80’s is in order. I would love to see some shoulder pads.”
“I read the short stories “Johnny Mnemonic” and “New Rose Hotel”. I loved them both, but especially New Rose Hotel with it’s cyclical nature that explored the concept of time very deeply. There were also cool references to classic sci fi like Ridley Scott’s “Bladerunner”. I loved it all!”
