How to clear the cache on an iPad

1. Go to Settings > Safari and tap Clear History and Website Data.

2. Tap Clear History and Data.

3. To clear cookies and keep your history, go to Settings > Safari > Advanced > Website Data > Remove All Website Data.

4. To visit websites without leaving a history, turn private browsing on or off. When you’re in Private Browsing, you won’t have a history of the pages you visit, your search history, or your AutoFill information.

5. To clear your cookies and cache when you quit Safari, go to Settings > Safari > Advanced > Website Data > Remove All Website Data. quitting Safari clears your cookies and cache on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

How to update your apps

1. Open the App Store and tap Updates.

2. If updates are available, tap Update All or tap the individual updates for each app.

3. If asked, enter your Apple ID password.

4. You might need a Wi-Fi connection to update some apps on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

5. On your Apple TV, go to Settings > System > Software Updates and select Update Software.

6. If there’s an update available for your Apple TV, you’ll see an option to Update in the Summary pane.

7. To install the update, select Download and Install.

8. Wait for the update to install. Do not disconnect or unplug your Apple TV until the update completes.
