If you’re someone who is constantly being tagged in photos on Instagram, you know how annoying it can be. Not only do these tags show up on your profile for everyone to see, but they also notify you every time someone posts a photo of you.

Fortunately, there is a way to remove these tags so that they don’t show up on your profile or bother you with notifications. Keep reading to find out how you can get rid of tags on Instagram once and for all. The first thing you need to do is go to the photo that you’ve been tagged in. Once you’re on the photo, click on the three dots in the upper right-hand corner. A menu will pop up and you should click on “Edit Tags.” A new page will load that says “Who is in this photo?” with the option to “Remove Me From Photo.” Select that option and you will be untagged from the photo. You can also prevent people from tagging you in photos altogether. To do this, go to your profile and click on the three dots in the upper right-hand corner. A menu will pop up and you should select “Settings.” On the next page, scroll down until you see “Privacy and Security.” Click on that and then select “Photos and Videos.” The first option is “Who Can Tag Me In Photos and Videos?” You can select “No One” so that no one can tag you in photos. Now you know how to remove tags from photos and prevent people from tagging you in the future. This will help keep your profile clean and free of unwanted notifications.

How to stop people from tagging you on Instagram

If you don’t want to be tagged in photos on Instagram, there is a way to prevent it. Here’s how:

  1. Go to your profile and click on the three dots in the upper right-hand corner.
  2. A menu will pop up and you should select “Settings.”
  3. On the next page, scroll down until you see “Privacy and Security.” Click on that and then select “Photos and Videos.”
  4. The first option is “Who Can Tag Me In Photos and Videos?” You can select “No One” so that no one can tag you in photos.

Log into your Instagram account from a computer

If you want to remove tags or prevent people from tagging you on Instagram, you’ll need to log into your account from a computer. Unfortunately, this can’t be done from the mobile app.

To log into your Instagram account from a computer:

  1. Go to Instagram.com and enter your username and password.
  2. Once you’re logged in, go to your profile and click on the three dots in the upper right-hand corner.
  3. A menu will pop up and you should select “Settings.”
  4. On the next page, scroll down until you see “Privacy and Security.” Click on that and then select “Photos and Videos.”
  5. The first option is “Who Can Tag Me In Photos and Videos?” You can select “No One” so that no one can tag you in photos.
